Areas of Focus
Our work at the Lance P. Sijan Foundation is in three primary focus areas of curriculum development, leadership training, and multimedia production. All three of these have been created with the intention of giving our mission the greatest impact.
Curriculum Development
Classroom, age appropriate study of theory and development around innovation, leadership, and resilience.
Leadership Training
Adventure based experiential exercises in both interpersonal and intrapersonal activities. Exercising resilience with an increased level of self-awareness brought about by the positive change experienced through participation.
Multimedia Production
Produce inspirational messaging of personal narratives across multi-media platforms of individuals who have risen above the odds and inspire others to do the same.
“Captain Sijan’s extraordinary heroism and intrepidity above and beyond the call of duty at the cost of his life are in keeping with the highest traditions of the U.S. Air Force and reflect great credit upon himself and the U.S. Armed Forces.”
